BtoB Magazine, the leading Business-to-Business (B2B) marketing magazine in the nation, this week published its annual list of Top B2B Agencies, with Minneapolis-based B2B marketing agency Schermer being named to the list for the fifth straight year. Schermer is the only independent Twin Cities agency to make the prestigious list.
“Being named a BtoB Top Agency is a real validation of our business-to-business expertise, and it puts us in rare company nationally,” says EJ McNulty, VP/Creative Director at Schermer. “We’re competing against the top tier agencies for top tier B2B brands now. Brands like Teradata, H.B. Fuller, Toro and Wells Fargo,” he added.
President Chris Schermer summarized the agency’s 2011 performance as their best yet. “Even though our top-line revenue was down (as the result of significant media revenue decline), our gross profit – the number we really care about – was up over 40% and our employee count was up 50%. This is the result of increased branding and demand generation campaigns, and digital and social initiatives for key clients, including developing and executing Best Buy For Business’s first-ever multi-channel, multi-million dollar campaign, ‘Ready For Business’.”
BtoB’s selection criteria included evaluating new account wins, growth of existing accounts, quality of campaigns and marketing innovation and Schermer has been consistently recognized by BtoB Magazine for delivering on those metrics.
